Even the most well-meaning parents have said to their children, "If you did such and such, you would be a little more perfect. You're good the way you are, but if you would do a little bit more, then you'd be even more perfect." The message may be subtle. It may not even be couched in words. But there has been the feeling that perhaps you should try a little bit harder to look a certain way, to act a certain way, to bring home the good grades from school, to do your profession a little bit better, etc.; all of the ways that the shoulds can enact their pressure upon you. But you are coming to a place where you are beginning to know more quickly the divine rightness of yourself, and it is a good feeling; not to have judgment of self; not to care what other ones think or what you think they are thinking.
